Aidan continues to grow / Aidan continua crescendo

English version: We promised to post some updates after Aidan's 20-week ultrasound held on November 12, so here we are. Wow, it's been almost two weeks already? Time does fly. Meanwhile, Aidan continues to grow and move vigorously. To make up for the delay, here's a recent photo of my growing belly, taken today (November 23 - 22 weeks of pregnancy). As Brian noted, my belly is finally passing my boobs!!! But with all of this wonderful growth comes lower and upper back pain. As a result, I have finally let go of my high heel shoes: a good excuse to buy new shoes. *wink*
Versão Português: Prometemos partilhar algumas imagens após a ultrasom de 20 semanas efetuada no dia 12 de Novembro, e aqui estamos partilhando. Afé, já fazem duas semanas? O tempo vôa mesmo. Enqto. isso, Aidan continua crescendo e se mexendo com vigor. Pra compensar a demora, estou colocando aqui uma foto da minha barriga (tirada hoje - 23 de Novembro: 22 semanas de gravidez). Tal como Brian notou, minha barriga está finalmente passando dos meus seios!!! Mas com todo esse crescimento arretado vem também dor nas costas (na parte superior e inferior). Assim, finalmente tive que parar de usar salto alto: uma boa desculpa para comprar sapato novo. *piscando*

English version: Our sweet canine children, Cole and Daisy, continue to be super great, sniffing my belly when they get a chance but mostly clueless and playful pups. They enjoy going to Aidan's room and we make sure to reward them for being such great dogs. I'm sure Aidan is going to love having Cole and Daisy around... Maybe, as it was the case for Brian, Aidan will have some help from Cole & Daisy as he learns how to walk. Here's a photo of Aidan's canine siblings, hanging out near his crib. Versão Português: Nossos amores de filhos caninos, Cole e Daisy, continuam sendo super maravilhosos, cheirando minha barriga qdo. tem uma oportunidade, mas, na maioria da vezes, simplesmente continuam sem noção e super brincalhões. Eles gostam de visitar o quartinho de Aidan e a gente sempre reforça seus bons comportamentos. Tenho certeza que Aidan vai adorar ter Cole e Daisy por perto... Talvez, tal como foi o caso para Brian, Aidan vai ter uma ajuda de Cole e Daisy qdo. ele começar a andar. Segue aqui uma foto dos irmãos caninos de Aidan, pertinho de seu berço.

English version: But where are those ultrasound shots? Don't worry, I did not forget them. The cool thing about this last ultrasound (at least for the nerd-type like myself) is that we get to see the various body structures. By now, Aidan has all of his major organs in place and has formed most of his hard bone. He can also hear us and make more voluntary movements. So, Brian has been reading a baby book for Aidan at night so his voice will be more easily recognized after Aidan is born. Check out his arm and leg here: nice and well-defined bones (see image above). No wonder I can feel his movements more clearly now!
Versão Português: Mas cadê as imagens da ultrasonografia? Não se preocupem pois eu não me esqueci. O a parte mais mais arretada dessa ultima ultrasonograia (pelo menos para "nerds" como eu) é que a gente pode ver várias estruturas do corpo. Agora, Aidan já tem todos seus orgãos e sua estrutura óssea bem formada. Ele também pode nos ouvir e fazer movimentos voluntários. Brian então começou a ler um livrinho para Aidan `a noite, assim sua voz será mais facilmente reconhecida qdo. Aidan nascer. Olhem só o braço e perna de Aidan aqui: bem delineada e bem formada (ver imagem acima). Por isso que tenho sentido seus movimentos bem mais claramente!
